Tour Overview
On this one-day tour, you’ll get to visit one of the most sacred places in all of Cambodia. Phnom Kulen was the start of the Khmer empire when the king declared victory over the Java people and Khmer Empire was born. Here we can stop to relax by the waterfall, or you can cool off by taking a swim in the river. We’ll also get to see the largest reclining Buddha in Cambodia.
We will also visit one of the floating villages which sit on top of the Tonle Sap lake. These villagers live their daily lives on the water. Kids go to school, parents go to work, markets are bustling, and this all takes place on floating structures which sit on top of the water!
