Tour Overview
On this one-day tour, you’ll visit the famous Ta Prohm temple which is commonly known as the Tomb Raider temple. This ancient temple which was once home to many thousands of monks, scholars, and servants, was used as a backdrop in the Lara Croft movie, Tomb Raider. This unique temple is a popular one among visitors because it has largely been left to the elements and the jungle is growing right through the middle of Ta Prohm!

We will also visit Pre Rup temple which is known as a mountain temple due to the steep climb to the towers at the top. It’s well worth making the effort to get to the top as you’ll get a unique view of the beautiful surrounding countryside. Pre Rup is one of the earlier temples built by the Khmer Kings and a popular temple with visitors.

Kbal Spean is another site which is located around 50km or so from Siem Reap town. Here you will see the River of a Thousand Lingas which are phallic symbols of the Hindu God Shiva. We can sit and relax by the river surrounded by dense jungle.

Moreover, we’ll see one of the highlights of your visit to Siem Reap – Banteay Srei. This unique temple is made from pink sandstone from the quarries in the Kulen Mountain range. It is also home to some intricate carvings which if the legend is true, were carved by women. It’s said that the carvings are too beautiful to have been carved by a man!
