Tour Overview

On this shared tour, we’ll start the long drive out to Preah Vihear province to the site of Koh Ker at 8am. After around one and a half hours of driving we’ll stop to take a break and buy tickets. Around 11am we should reach Koh Ker complex where we will start the tour with Prasat Pram which means “5” in English. It’s called this because of its five towers. Then we’re on to see Prasat Neang Khmao, and Prasat Thom before stopping for lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll see Prasat Linga, Prasat Krachap, and Prasat Damrei.

Around 1:30pm, we’ll start the drive back towards Siem Reap and stop at Beng Mealea. This wonderful temple has the jungle literally growing through the middle of it and lays in ruins. It’s a quiet temple to visit because it’s quite a distance from Siem Reap town so most visitors don’t make it to Beng Mealea. This means that you can explore in peace and quiet.
